The National Post-Surgical Recovery Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, serving senior patients across the nation. We exist to ensure that every senior who needs post-surgical recovery therapy and lymphedema care can access it — regardless of their ability to pay.
The gap we exist to close
Every day, patients are discharged from surgery without a clear path to the medically necessary therapy. For uninsured and underinsured patients, that gap becomes a wall. Surgical site infections, lymphatic dysfunction, and post-operative complications are not minor inconveniences — they are documented medical emergencies that return patients to the hospital at enormous personal and systemic cost.
Who we prioritize
Our organization exclusively serves adults age 55 and older who are living with one of the conditions we sponsor care for — cancer survivors, post-surgical patients, and individuals managing chronic conditions including lymphedema, neuropathy, and neuromuscular dysfunction. We do not serve patients outside this group. We provide care nationwide wherever qualified Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) are contracted with our charity care network.
Governance & accountability
There is only one group of providers supporting this organization: credentialed manual medicine specialists and LMTs, all compensated equally through standard contract pay practices. Our work is grounded in clinical need, patient access, and consistent internal pay standards.

Our vision
Our vision is to build a sustainable charity care fund that serves the Las Vegas community and can be replicated in communities across the country and for military families living around the world, expanding access to medically necessary massage therapy for people who are uninsured, underinsured, or whose insurance refuses to cover it. We envision care guided by clinical need, not financial barriers, so more people can receive the therapeutic support they require.
